Basilica of St. Adalbert one of several Historic Preservation Award winners

The Basilica of St. Adalbert, The Pyramid Scheme, others among this year’s Historic Preservation Awards winners. 

According to excerpts from MLive:

A century after being built, the copper domes atop the Basilica of St. Adalbert were restored in 2010 to last another 100 years. The $900,000-plus construction project at 701 Fourth St. NW in Grand Rapids was not only “a true testament to the skill and talent of” the builders and to “the perseverance, commitment and love of” the parishioners, but has “assured this wonderful landmark shall adorn our skyline for many generations to come.”
