John Ball Park

The West Fulton district, often referred to as the 'U to the Zoo,' runs along its namesake street from Grand Valley State University's booming downtown campus on the east to historic John Ball Park and Zoo on the west.

In between is a mix of popular locally owned businesses – such as Frank's specialty meat market – that make the district a popular West Side destination.

West Fulton is especially popular on Pulaski Days, when residents from across the city gather at the Polish Falcons Society and other area halls for the annual celebration of General Casimir Pulaski, the polish immigrant and United States war hero.
