Webcast to highlight GVSU sustainability projects

Many college campuses are living out a call to create environmentally sustainable operations and classrooms. Students, administrators, and faculty from four major colleges and universities will discuss strategies and projects on a two-hour webcast.

According to excerpts from the story:

How are Arizona State University, Grand Valley State University, Harvard University, and Pima Community College tackling environmental sustainability on their campuses? Tune in to an October 25, 2006, two-hour webcast to learn how these institutions are weaving sustainability into their daily campus operations and classrooms.

The webcast, titled “Where Is Your Campus On the Continuum of Integrated Sustainability Planning,” will be broadcast from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. ET by the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), an international society of senior higher education professionals. The program will feature a panel of administrators, faculty, and students reporting on campus-based sustainability projects and their strategies for incorporating sustainability into daily campus life.
