Clean energy consultancy and service provider set to open office in Grand Rapids and add jobs

Clean Green Energy LLC has announced that they will now go forward with the new name of CGE Energy. The name change is one of several moves for the Brighton, Michigan based energy consultancy and solutions provider.

The name change reflects the company's diversified energy solution offerings, including Power Purchase Agreements that eliminate the cost of entry for installing renewable generation and energy efficiency technologies.

Other moves being made by CGE Energy include an imminent merger with publicly traded McKenzie Bay International (MKBY:OTCPink) and opening a new office in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Paul Schneider, VP of marketing for CGE Energy, says the move to downtown Grand Rapids represents an opportunity for the firm to expand to new markets and tap into Grand Rapids' commitment to renewable energy. "Most of our customers are in the southeast side of state.  We want to extend our footprint to West Michigan," he says. "The city has a strong renewable commitment and we think we can have a huge impact."

Schneider says they are currently reviewing office sites in the downtown area and he anticipates that the new location will be operational by the end of the year. He says  initially there will be two full-time staff members operating out of Grand Rapids with more jobs to follow.

CGE Energy has been in business for 20 years. The company provides energy optimization services and purchase power agreements. CGE serves customers in the U.S. and abroad, using energy efficient technologies that include Cree LED lighting and wind and solar generation.
