Saugatuck and Douglas will be the first in the Michigan Hometown Documentary series produced by WGVU. Production begins in the spring.
According to excerpts from the Holland Sentinel:
When spring blooms in Saugatuck and Douglas, the production of the first Michigan Hometown Stories documentary series on WGVU public television will begin to grow as well.
“It’s an ongoing project. It’s going forward,” said Jon Helmrich on Monday. Helmrich is vice president of the Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society, the group partnering with the West Michigan public television station for the upcoming hour-long production.
