5×5 Awards $5000 to Entrepreneur’s Idea for a Scholarship Donation Website

February’s 5×5 gave the entire $5000 prize to Nathan Cahill and his ideas for a micro-lending website enabling people to make scholarship donations to college students.

According to excerpts from MLive:

Cahill, the first to make a pitch at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, has started a Kickstarter-like platform to let family, friends, acquaintances or other benefactors donate money toward college scholarships.
“This basically takes what’s already happening, puts it in one spot where it’s easily accessible and available to anyone in the world,” said Cahill, who launched Fund Scholars in January at Startup Weekend with friends Alex Bentz and Nick Woodhams
