Two area schools win Odyssey of the Mind competition

Innovative problem solving is honored each year when hundreds of 7-person teams from elementary, middle, and high schools around the globe compete in a 2-day contest to see whose inventions are the most creative. Two elementary schools from Rockford and Grand Rapids came home with honors.

According to excerpts from the story:

At the 28th Annual Odyssey of the Mind World Finals, 810 teams of seven from all over the world competed at Michigan State University in a competition like no other. From May 23 - May 25, teams competed for the honor of being recognized as World Champions in creative problem solving.
