It’s not Paris. But Grand Rapids offers a wide selection of tasty bakeries, according to a recent review by Calvin College student Josn Ankerberg.
Excerpts from the story:
After returning to America from my semester in France last year, I had become accustomed to a certain daily allowance of baked goods. So my cravings have taken me around the local area to a few bakeries and pastry shops. From baguettes and "pain au chocolat" to bear claws and honey wheat loaf, the variety at [Grand Rapids’] local shops is expansive and delicious.
