With more and more residents settling into condos and other housing in downtown Holland, one developer has an idea for adding vertical space to create more apartments in the city's core.
According to excerpts from the story:
The Holland Planning Commission approved the site plan Tuesday for the addition of a second floor to the existing building at 25 and 27 W. Ninth St.
Cleo's Bridal and Gift Shop was at the site and closed Feb. 29.
Lumir Corp., owner of the building, plans to create two retail spaces on the ground floor. Upstairs, three two-bedroom apartments would each have access to outside decks.
