Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park is advancing its reputation as a quality roller coaster attraction with the construction of Thunderhawk -- Michigan's first "suspended loop" roller coaster.
West Michigan's leading summer tourist attraction may never become what its parent company has developed at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, known as one of the finest roller coaster parks in the world.
Thunderhawk represents the largest investment Michigan's Adventure has every made in a single ride -- more than $10 million. Construction of the ride is under way after the structure was moved from a Cedar Fair LP park in Cleveland, Ohio, refurbished and set up for reconstruction in Muskegon.
