Attracting retail business to the central city is high on the priority list for the Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority as they seek ways to pick up the pace of revitalization. A consultant was recently hired to lead a four-month pilot program.

The Downtown Development Authority agreed last week to begin a four-month pilot program to support retailers in the district and hopefully draw more of these business owners to downtown.
