The Grand Rapids Press reports that a local digital studio has formed a strategic partnership with a California based technology and special effects firm to take advantage of the growing film industry.
According to excerpts from the story:
Michigan filmmakers now have a direct line to Hollywood-caliber 3-D technology and the special effects talent behind movies such as the original "Star Wars" trilogy, "Pirates of the Caribbean," the "Indiana Jones" series and "Star Trek."
The Kerner Group, based in San Rafael, Calif., formed a strategic partnership with Digital Design Village, a local digital studio at 800 Bond Ave. NW
