In an era where the hotel design emphasizes aesthetic continuity throughout the rooms and public spaces, one Holland hotel has flipped that concept on its ear. Local designers used their talents to create a hotel where no two rooms are the same, right down to the custom furniture.

The developers of the more than $9 million CityFlats Hotel and CityVü Bistro think their new boutique concept will be a gem for the city.
Charter House Innovations (CHi), a furniture design and manufacturing company and the parent company of the new hotel, even has plans to take the concept nationwide.
The structure was a designers delight. CHi gave its designers free reign over the interior design of each of the hotel’s 56 rooms, and the result was that no two rooms are close to being alike.
