After purchasing and gutting three of the former Muskegon Mall’s oldest building, the developer is seeking retail and residential tenants. Turning a vision into reality will create a vibrant, walkable downtown Muskegon to draw urban dwellers to the area.

MUSKEGON — Gary Post’s vision for downtown Muskegon is a balance of mixed-used developments of office, retail and an increasing number of downtown residences.

“We just want a vibrant, walkable, pedestrian-friendly downtown that people find a good place to live as well as shop, work and recreate,” said Post, former president of Muskegon Construction.
