With an eye toward attracting a young crowd that normally doesn’t spend their nights attending plays and dramatic performances, a Holland duo decided that an enticing libation might be just the ticket. Another appealing factor—the performance won’t take up the whole evening.

HOLLAND, Mich. - "I like a little theater with my beer" is not the standard motto for a stage company.
The Other Theater, then, is not your standard stage company.
New to western Michigan, it is the creation of Muskegon actor Nicholas Dressel and his business partner, actor/director Josh Guerrin.
"We are an appetizers-and-drinks theater that will try to appeal to people who don't normally like theater," said Dressel, 22.
