Metro Health named one of nation’s greenest hospitals

Becker’s Healthcare Review has named Wyoming’s Metro Health Hospital one of the greenest hospitals in the nation, recognizing its LEED certification and sustainability initiatives.

According to the article:

Metro Health was one of only seven hospitals in Michigan to receive the recognition for its sustainability initiatives.  Becker’s called Metro and other acute-care hospitals on this year’s list “forward-thinking institutions that lead sustainability efforts by example” and “demonstrate how environmental sustainability is a shared responsibility.”
