Yes! GR Parks millage passes

Grand Rapids voters approved a Yes! GR Parks millage request with 60 percent approval, allowing the city to move forward with plans for maintenance and improved access to its parks.

“It makes for a safer, better community,” said Lynne Swets, a Heritage Hill property owner who voted at Westminster Presbyterian Church. “It can only help Grand Rapids. It’s an important part of the growth of our city to have green spaces.”
