John Ball Zoo enjoys third year of record attendance

John Ball Zoo had over 460,000 visitors in its 2013 season, setting an attendance record at the West Side location for the third year in a row. The zoo attributes high attendance to increased community support, new visitor experiences, and sunny summer weather.

According to the article:

“We are delighted to report these numbers, because we started this year behind, due to a colder March and wet April,” said Andy McIntyre, zoo director. “We not only caught up, but ended up surpassing 2012’s attendance.”
