The Stingray Lagoon — an outdoor pool alongside the aquarium that houses about two dozen rays — is the “crown jewel” of a series of attractions and improvements at the zoo this summer.
“They’re gorgeous, really unique, beautiful animals,” zoo director Bert Vescolani said. “We’re very excited about this.”
